CoolIris - Browsing With A Midas Touch

CoolIris, interactive 3D news browsing/photo wall for browser and cell phone

My verdict: It rocks. What else?

I have already had a call from a client whose interest and desire was awakened by the CoolIris widget, after I snatched the widget and published the wall as the frontpage of my company website.

CoolIris is installed on my Firefox browser, and I open the desktop to browse on a daily basis, without it being some kind of duty: Surfing is fun this way, and it is yet the closest we get to virtual reality as described in movies from the 80ies and 90ies.

I love data visualization application in the first place, religiously featuring Marumushi's legendary Google Newsmap on nearly very website I own.

CoolIris was also what got me on Flickr, which is required in order to install a widget for a personalized slide-show (it beats fancy Flash-presentations imho), and it got me interested in WordPress and PicLens as well.

So, you know: Way to go, CoolIris Inc. No complaints there. It is good for business, quick to edit (manageable also for newbie developers) and designed to make money for everybody.

CoolIris is a piece of software with a Midas touch.
